Started to crack. Just got the call from Ruger's Customer service and was quoted $900 for replacement. Before accepting that I'm checking on alternatives.

That was the original plan. That exact part actually. I was looking for other options in case that doesn't work. I've also been toying with the idea of their Sourdough sight as well.

I should have mentioned that the previous owner had the rifle Mag-Na-Ported, which makes changing the entire front sight a little more involved. I'd like to avoid that if possible.
