The Tikka T3 is about the best value out there for the money, IMO, but man I would love to have a Rigby!

My wife has tried Kuiu, Sitka and First Lite. Has all. She prefers the fit from First Lite, but there isn’t an overwhelming selection or extensive range of colors.

308 will get it done. A 7mm 08 is a touch small IMO on elk. If you’re looking for just one, it’s a pretty easy choice. Lot more variety of ammo and better ammo availability for the 308 as well.
