You don’t use buff for leopard bait. If you want to add and hunt buff yeah it will make the price go up. In Niassa you are going to use impala and zebra. When you add other species etc 60 is a true price. But for leopard and the leopard bait its 40 all day.
So a leopard hunt in Luangwa or Niassa is going to cost you 40k all in give or take. You will kill your leopard on that hunt 99% of the time. A cheaper leopard hunt or cancellation leopard hunt is going to cost 22-25k all in. That’s a hunt where you are most likely going to have to hunt...
Try Kuhl Radikal pants. Best I’ve found for comfort while hunting in Africa. Certainly do a good job keeping cooler when it’s hot and they are very quiet.
Just go with your original plan. I just texted the PH. He is going to bring you additional 375 ammo from their office.
Also you could cut the 450/400 ammo by 10 rounds and add additional 375 ammo. Im bringing my double so there will be additional rounds if needed.
I had trouble with my ammo last year just like Zach. Air France flies into JRO every other day. So I had to wait a couple of days for the ammo to make it to camp. I am putting my ammo in my suitcase this year hoping for better luck.

Haven’t had the desire to take a croc, but will most likely do so in July. No desire to dart a rhino or shoot one behind a high fence.
Buff are good add on’s to your leopard or lion hunt. There is no increase in day rates to hunt a buff when you are hunting cats. You just pay the trophy fee. Very good chance you will shoot a buff for bait when you hunt lion.
Certain days of the week are more expensive than others. I booked a delta one flight to Africa 2 weeks ago and paid less than half that amount. You can look at the flight and see how many open seats their are in first class and if there is still a substantial number the price is going to drop...
Did I read that correctly…9 lions for the entire country? That almost seems like a joke. 9 will do nothing to curtail the human-wildlife conflict. I guess we know why the prices for these lion hunts are sky high.
All outfitters, even the best, that are sold out at the shows have cancellation hunts come available. Get on mailing lists for outfitters you want to hunt with and you will be surprised what comes available during the year.
