How far do you go in the backcountry?

I usually hunt horseback into the Teton Wilderness. I go anywhere from 12 to 30 miles in. Last fall I hunted 18 miles in.

    Wyoming style chariot racing

It’s typically in the winter months. They usually have the championships in March over in Star Valley. I don’t know how organized it is. Lots of beer lots of fun. It usually draws 4 or 500 people. Mostly something to do at the end of a long winter.

That’s called cutter racing. We still do that here in Wyoming.

I could have bought another rifle , but this instead.

Wyoming is a terrible place! I wouldn’t recommend stopping here. I-80 is definitely our most scenic route no reason to deviate from that.

    Help Please...9.3x62 Makes No Sense

I use 60.2 grains of Big Game with slight compression. I’m not sure what it chronographs, but it is what my rifle likes for accuracy.

    Leather maintenance

You’re in the right track, but flip flopped. The compound is a cheaper petroleum based mixture. It was known to break down the linen thread. I used to use the old linen thread when I used my old hook and awl machine. I like the way those old machines stitched. If you appreciate the art. You...

Olive oil from the kitchen cabinet works great for most things. I use many different oils, waxes, glycerins, etc. when I build saddles, but I use olive oil for most applications.
