Would not advise rechambering as the barrels are as minimal as can be, the taper start right after the length of the 45-70 cartridge. I thought the so thing, but haven't seen a rechambered one yet.
Thank for the info, I will eventually get around to chronoing the recipe from JJ, if it high it nice to have other recipes to look to. Beside I'm not taking it to African right now so it doesn't need to be buffalo down and shoulder punching load.
Like to know which reloading manuals have 375 flanged magnum in them, as I can't find a recipe from any local books(USA). Not to worried as I got the recipe from JJ perodeau the gunsmith. I will eventually chrono the load only shot two loads so far and was shooting for fun and breaking the 7...
Wanted run this by other, got a recipe from jj. 300gr bullet with 72-73gr of IMR 4350
270gr bullet with 75gr of IMR 4350
All with CCi 250 LMR primers.
Said it was what he used
Wanted to get an opinion weather load seem high for a flanged load. Weather it seem more of a belted load.
I have most of the stuff to reload for it, but no luck on lrm primers(new to reloading so no stockpile) so I'm looking for factory to at least shoot it. Owned since January and haven't shot it.
Any recipes for smaller grain bullets particularly 270grain and as I'm kind of new to the 375 flanged does it have a different bullet diameter then the 375 h&h belts would?
