Yes, it's a Winslow haha. I would never want one, but for some reason I am glad they exist.

I suppose, if I should ever make it to Africa, I will take my newly acquired 404J for my Buff and either my 35 Whelen or 300 H&H for plains game.

I'm relatively new to the reloading world. Is a taper/factory crimp for required? I got a set of redding dies in the purchase, standard 2 piece.

I have not owned a M77, but I have an RSM M77 MKII and a Hawkeye African. The MKII is my favorite, but I am biased because its the RSM model. I do love my Hawkeye African after the action smoothed out.

He did, yes. This rifle was made back in 2012 or 2013. Matrix Gunsmithing in Colorado was the chosen successor.

Pictures are worth a thousand words. Especially for that pack job. Worked like a charm! And had gave us a laugh at the gun shop.
