C.W. Richter

Led a dual-life as a child: Grew up at the very end of the Philadelphia suburbs, where just across the road the forest, river, and farmlands began, and thus spent most of the time in the woods and water! 'Spent summers at family farms where a love for the outdoors was heightened even further. Learned to stalk game at close range with archery equipment and small caliber rifles as a child. Developed a love for fairly long range precision rifle shooting (at "practical" ranges for the given conditions, equipment and experience; <700 yds as a young man. Most hunting shots are of course taken well within this range!) The only constant in life for me seems to be the passion for nature and hunting...'Fund the love of hunting via cleaning up commercial and industrial chemical spill sites all over N. America. Real estate developers buy the blemished properties for a song, I assist in cleaning the property up, and they erect new housing, hospitals, schools, shopping plazas, marinas and/or other recreational facilities or powerplants. 'Have read and viewed nearly every book and video that exists on hunting and as a result have a great respect for our great forefathers in the sport (Roosevelt, Selous, Jameson, Bear, Johnson, Hemmingway, Captstick and Chuck Adams-just to name a few.)
