Agreed. I'd really focus more on the country or area I wanted to hunt most. In my case it would be a hard choice between Masailand and Karamojo, but come to think of it I haven't been to Namibia in awhile. I would like to hunt Hartman's Zebra one more time... but Masailand, no wait Karamojo...

I've used both Hendershot's Extreme Ammo and Superior as well as John Lasalla's Safari Arms. All have provided quality ammo... some rifles shoot most anything well and some are persnickety! When you find a load that shoots, stick with it and lock the load data in the safe with the rifle!

Damara in Namibia? Kirk's in Tanzania? Gunther in Uganda? Lots of Dik Dik... the question is where and which one.

I have one of Butch's later doubles built on his action, not the old Browning BSS, in .450 NE. It's accurate and hasn't given me any problems. It's certainly can't be called "svelte" like my English and Belgium doubles. It's built solidly with nice wood and case color, and if I was looking...

RIP Peter. I spent time with him at Cawston in 2010 taking a nice tssessebe and sable with Martin Pieters there. Lovely property and a true gentleman. He lived a full life!
