Outstanding. The 155gr in 7mm Rem Mag made short work of 5 Arkansas whitetails last fall, albeit at short distances <100 yards. All shoulder shot, DRT or short tracking job.

That is interesting, I have used CFE223 with 250s at a similar charge (64gr) with good results. Maybe I will back off of that load a few grains and work up and see how it goes. I have reached out to CEB but haven't heard back yet. Was going to load some up today and shoot this weekend...

I have the SRO on my 89, and personally I think the Aimpoint H-2 looks more at home on your rifle than the SRO.... purely aesthetically speaking. I wouldn't think there would be much of a weight difference but I may be wrong there.

I'm curious if the OAL changes (due to bullet type, cannelure location, etc.) relative to the dummy round, if that impacts the function of the die. Otherwise, why do they need the dummy round?

Dumb question, but when sending a dummy round do you have to commit to the specific bullet you include in your dummy round? i.e. if i send Lee a dummy round with a 500 gr Hornady DGX, can I also crimp say a 500 gr A Frame, NF, TSX, etc. using that die or do I have to stick with the bullet...
