Recoil. It broke under the receiver lug. It was in the original Hogue which is apparently weak right there. I shot it a lot open sight so it was lite too

When I go into the 400 class I want a double but so out of my price range right now. Cape buff and grizz are the only DG on the menu for now

That’s where I’ve been looking. I was hoping someone had a preferred dealer I would like some nice carmal and smoke wood like hand picked.

Where is the best place to pick one up? My LGS has not gotten back to me with a price yet. Looking at trading or selling the No.1 to help fund this also.

I had to do some work on my Alaskan too. Polished up the feed lips and ramp. Then it was flawless......until it broke the stock.

Beautiful rifle! I was looking at the Lott too but I’m pretty well invested in the 375 with all the bullets and dies etc. Africa in two years hopefully.

Like the title says anyone with experience with one would be appreciated. All I’ve done is hold one. I’ve owned the original Ruger Alaskan 375 and own a No.1 375 H&H and it’s not my cup of tea. Time for a nice bolt gun.
