Depends where you are hunting. In RSA and Namibia, the bush can be sparse and not too thick, but in Zim and Zambia, Eland hunting in the thick stuff is not always easy. In my experience 375 gives me more confidence. just my 2c
Good Morning, I think you should ask your Zim outfitter to help you. Also ask your intended hotel in Vic Falls about storing weapons with them. Your outfitter in Harare would probably know a few PH's in Vic Falls that could help you store them in the event the hotel cannot.

speaking with PH's they say Elephants move very very fast when charging and the experience is very frightening. These PH's that I have spoken to rate Ele as number 2 after Lion. A few PH's in Zim in the lat 10 yrs or so have been killed by Elephants
