I'm the guy that's always trying to buy something of premium quality for less money. Which is why I own Meopta's, Sako's, a Krieghoff, CZ's, Leupold's, and Ruger's. I do think I'll end up with a Heym double at some point, maybe a Blaser R8 or a Rigby Big game - or maybe both.

I think it is next to impossible to disagree with that scope, but they are really fucking expensive.

Really hard to beat that kind of value. Even it doesn't have the best reticle on it. I own five of those.

I would go with a Meopta MeoPro R2 1.7-10x42 or a Meopta MeoPro R2 1-6x24. The Optika is their cheaper line, and frankly I think it is on par with the Leupold VX-6HD, but the Meopro R2 is head and shoulders above any of the Leupold's - I own them both FYI
