    Giving up hunting

Due to the amount of poaching that is going on I have finally decided to give up hunting for good. Elephants, rhinos and even tigers will be extinct within a decade. Also lions and other species are on the decline. Also I am no longer interested in killing creatures for the fun of it,the only...

    Maasai land

Has anyone heard a rumour that 48,000 Maasai are facing being thrown off their land by the Tanzanian government just so that rich kings and princes from the middle east can go hunting.I don't think this should be allowed, but i suppose money always comes before people.

    Rigby double rifles

Thanks for the reply. It was a long time ago and i think it was a .450 nitro express.I suspected that it must have a heck of a kick.My uncle was a professional hunter in Kenya before the hunting ban and also in Tanzania and Uganda.

    Rigby double rifles

Many years ago, during the golden age of hunting in Africa,my late uncle often hunted in Kenya and Tanzania. He had 2 or 3 different guns but his favotite was a .455 rigby express double rifle,i remember staring in awe at it in the gun cabinet when he was back at home.It looked rather heavy.I was...
