It’s also going to depend on the species. I hunted the Eastern Cape and it could definitely be hard if you’re hunting bushbuck or kudu or zebra or other wary animals. Blesbok and stuff like that is going to be easier. I didn’t see that they were very switched on

A PH I hunted with in Botswana was present when 3 San ran down two kudu on back to back days. I think that was the Attenborough video posted above. They did it once but the kudu was down when they got the video there. They wanted to do it again to show the spearing. So they did it yet again...

Rent one. Show up to camp with only a backpack and they’ll love you :cool: I have taken a bow twice. I’ve rented a rifle twice. And I’m renting next year for Cape buffalo. I do enjoy the hassle free travel of no checked bags and no rifle or bow.
