I actually faced this exact question. I won the SCI dream hunts sweepstakes and had a $100,000 budget. I blew it all on a big bull/leopard hunt in Botswana  I would make the same decision today if I did it all over again
I should add. A local company will order the hats and embroider them. With the digitalization fee and the hats etc. it should cost about $250 for 10 hats
I have been wrestling over hats for a while. I own some nice Resistol hats. Have a ton of Kuiu. Etc. but wanted a ball cap for ease of travel
However I couldn’t find a hat I liked. Kuiu hats are small and feel tight to me. Couldn’t find a trucker hat with a logo I liked. I didn’t want to rep...

Nobody hunted in my family. But I had supportive parents who were country raised, and we lived outside of town bordering thousands of acres of public land. I was fascinated by tracks. When I was 7 I got a BB gun and I was hell on songbirds. Spent hours and hours stalking and shooting birds...
I guess I may be the odd man out. It doesn’t bother me greatly.
1. They may actually be hunting. In 2023 I was in a fly camp in Botswana for 14 days. The WiFi was down. It became a running joke that it was gonna be “done tomorrow”. In the end, my PH said “this is Africa”. And it wasn’t fixed...
I’m a little surprised by the gun owner map too. I just used Grok AI and asked how may AR15s in America. It’s an estimate as there is no national registry, but the latest estimate is 30-32 million AR15s in civilian ownership in America.
I’m a little proud of that number
