I have the VX5 2x10 as well and love it but if you want to be able to use a true "dangerous game" 1x scope as well you can use Alaska Arms mounts and put his rings on a 1x5 to quickly swap glass and keep same poi.

Well I started out looking at the VX5 1x5 but the VX3 has a bit more eye relief and I think it was a little lighter. I plan on talking to Leupold before buying one and see if the VX3 series can hold up. The VX5 is 28mm objective over the VX3's 24mm but idk if 4 mm is enough to matter in low...

Yep that's exactly what I got, beautiful stock and blue steel and with a surprisingly good trigger. I did see that the 460 is legally approved for hunting whales lol not sure I'll ever be going that route though. I'll try and get some good enough pics tomorrow but I'd like to be able to upload...
