That’s good to know. I have had quite a bit of metal cerakoted but never a stock.

How How did the stock take the cerakote job? Did it stick well or any chipping/flaking?

Lilja makes all the Kimber barrel contours so that’s the easy button for rebarrel.

@Andrew62 I was going build a 21” 416 rem mag for brown bear. Shot great as a 300win mag. You know what they say…Never shoot the donor rifle! I have a 416 RM Caprivi and love it, wanted an all weather version.

It measures 25.75”

These actions are extremely smooth, trigger is excellent and adjustable. I bought the rifle for an all weather DG build, but found one already built for purchase.

Reduction: $1500 + shipping! Forgot about this one for a minute until I found its factory box yesterday :)

I bet Ruger will do you you right. Good on you for letting them know. In my experience with open sights @50yds, lighter bullet loads (or higher velocity) have always shot lower than what the gun was regulated for. They have less time in the barrel and exit the muzzle earlier in the recoil path...
