Have called Black Bear a lot in my day. The only advise is to use a loud jackrabbit call and remember that Blackies have a very short attention span....so keep calling, start out low tone in case they are nearer, than you think, then progressively louder and longer ,then pause, watch then start...

Absolutely wonderful knife from Von gruff...The one on my Avatar has a stainless steel blade. It is with out a doubt is the best for hunting and all the chores that go with it.

I Have the same rifle in 6.5.Creedmore. Killed this years buck with a 100 GR. Barnes TTSX at 200 plus yards , DRT. This is the first year of no lead bullets.....Love the Barnes TTSX...

My custom texas magnum with a shilen magna ported barrel . Loves the Hornaday 500 grain soft point. Wow what a recoil. It actually is a ear spliten loaden boomer. Suppose it is the porting that is the cause . So what......One and done......Just my two cents worth...….MICHAEL T.
