I'm fortunate enough to own a WJ Jeffery DR in 450-400 3". I have a photo from the International Big Game Rifle Competition in Darwin - taken in August 2024 - with 6 competitors holding WJ Jeffery Double Rifles in the same caliber. Not likely to be seen again. I'll dig the photo out and post it...

Will do! But I'm currently planning a trip to NZ in May next year to hunt Sika Deer, Chamois and Tahr - we'll be taking a couple of Weatherbys for that. Buffalo hopefully get onto Buffalo with the Jeffery DR late next year.

Nice! The nine-three did the job. I just scaled up my double from a Sabatti 9.3x74R to a WJ Jeffery 450-400 3" - can't wait to use it on Buffalo!
