I’ve hunted them a lot living in Arizona. TDSmith is correct, use the best glass you can and preferably from a tripod. Glass slow, they are easy to miss. Be where you want to glass from before the sun comes up.

I like a pad if for nothing else when you want to set the gun down. Being in Arizona 99% of the time it’s going to be on rock.

My understanding is the cup point will mushroom slightly causing more damage but will penetrate a little less than the flat point.

I have a 375 Ruger necked down to 9.3. I can get 2900 fps with a 250 gr Nosler Accubond.

What reticle on the scopes?

Are you sure on that for the 450 Rigby? The Rigby website says 3 in the magazine. Not arguing just want to know.
