Nice hunt, a question though, since Grevy's Zebras are now protected and no longer huntable, how was this hunted, like what year or where was it hunted exactly?
That Particular hunt was in 1971 in the North East Territory of Kenya. That was the first of two Grevy's. The second was taken in 1974 from the same general location. It adorns the floor in my living room. Since hunting is now totally banned in Kenya, you would assume that the Grevy's are thriving. I fear that the opposite is the case.
Both zebras were one shot kills, taken with my Model 70 Winchester .300 H&H, shown in the photo.
