So I go to the Chiropractor and.....

People like this can't be reasoned with. When you try give them factual information, it just goes in one ear and out the other. They only hear what they want to. The video-gaming, feel-good, "everyone is a winner" generations that we have been producing for some time now unfortunately seem to be filled with this type. They spent far too much of their childhoods seeking entertainment in front of a computer or television screen, rather than being outside. I'm only 31 but was fortunate enough to have relatives that taught me to appreciate the outdoors. The only people that I think can be positively influenced are the ones who don't have much knowledge of hunting, but have not yet formed an opinion.

Good on ya... brings me back to that old Cat Stevens great song... "So, tell me...where do the children play ?"
My sons hunted and fished with me whenever the opportunity arose.. now they grown uop and STILL hunt and fish with me.. my grandkids started fishing with us way back... bit young still for the hunting, but the older 2 x girls started range shooting already with their dad.

That's because there's nothing between the ears to slow the information your telling them down. It's like a wind tunnel.

WhenI was a boy in Western PA, we used to get the day off from school for opening day of deer season!
And we went to school during season with our rifles hanging in the racks over the rear window of our pickup trucks for all to see... We would drive ourselves in and park in the school parking lot so we could get in an hour or so hunting after school. Hell the rest of the fall there were shotguns and .22's in the racks. That was only about 35 years ago.......

Never had any school shootings to worry about either.....

I graduated in 81 and it was pretty much the same, not a truck in the parking lot that didn't have at least a rifle and a shotgun in it an half probably had a pistol as well.

The closest we ever got to a "school shooting" though was about midway through my Junior Year when the principal asked me to go to the lunch room and shoot the skunk that was hanging around the backdoor to the kitchen.

How did any of us live to see the new millennium? HA!
