Is hunting in Benin about to close in the next 2 years or so?

I heard from someone who should know that they may close hunting there in the next 2 years or so? Does anyone have any info regarding that? Also, western Buff any fun to hunt and what other species are indigenous or a must to go after? Thanks

Haven't heard anything about closing. If I were going I'd be after western roan, hartebeest, and bushbuck along with the buffalo.

Western Buffalo are a lot of fun to hunt, I hunt them in Burkina Faso but the same will apply in Benin in terms of Quality of hunt.

Hi Sir,

I am just back from Benin. The hunting season went very well.
I am not sure your friend got the good infos... hunting is going very well and it is the biggest income for the Pendjari national park.
