Very cool, is there a story to go with that beast? thanks for sharing.

nice elephant

I am sure that there is a story to go with it?

A lot of character in those tusks. :thumb:

Wishing your next hunt to be as successful!:meyou:

Congrats to you and the lady hunter Wayne.

Hi Bob

You and me both want the next hunt to be as successful , it wont be for the lack of trying that's for sure.

For the other members who want a story , there is always a story with every hunt. In a brief note it was taken again pretty early in the hunt day 3, so not too much to tell. It was a really good old bull no hair on tail, thick worn tusks and due to all the rain we have been having, getting around was tough plus there was crop raiding going on in a few places but not as much as normal due to the abundance of rain and available food. We passed up on 2 younger bulls on day 2 .

It is still raining in parts of the country with rain fall records been broken this year all over, dams are full in most parts , rivers are running so its awesome being here witnessing this as it sure does not rain like this every year.

All the best. Safe hunting to all.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
