ok as this seems to be a big worry for people i thought it would be interesting for people to say yes,no, or arrived later. this is only for travel to an african destination. please vote for each time you have travelled to an african destination so we can get a reasonable idea of whether this is actually happening , or is more in peoples heads.

In your post please state the number of trips.

Not yet, thank God!

No

please also remember to click for each trip you have made so it gives a better indication overall. also you dont have to post on the thread to click on a vote, so people viewing that have experience of this please click as well.

Four trips no issue

Spike it will not allow me to vote but one time!

2 times and no, also voted

Not once on any trip international or internal.
My Bow was late in arriving once.

It allows you to vote within the selected options. ie. you can choose all three: yes, no and late.
Sadly, not set up as a data base.

ok thanks for the info. people just have to have the one vote then, but if you post put in how many times you have been . :D Beers:

4 times, all luggage arrived.

(Ask me about Central America - LOL).

3 times to Africa with no ammo loss. 2 other international hunts with no lost ammo. 1st trip my rifle didn't arrive till the 3rd day....... Bruce

No loss on two Africa trips, nor on a bunch of local trips.

I've never lost any luggage, rifle or otherwise. Haven't even had anything be late.

1 trip, rifle and ammo lost. Used a rental and it worked out fine. Didn't get my gun or ammo till I was leaving the country. It happens but from the guys I talked to I'm the exception.

Nothing lost on either trip to Africa, plenty lost in continental US, including me a time or two but that was mostly alcohol related. The airport bar still had booze left and I couldn't very well leave it there by itself!
Cody

Five times, no problem.

Great information. I hope we are in the 97 percentile, but with my luck..... JINXed for sure now.

Two trips no problems ammo or firearms

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
