Canadian firearms export permit to Zimbabwe

When we take guns to Zim we get a Temp Export permit, when returning to Canada you must have the CSBA verify what was taken out is returned then they stamp your permit. You MUST send this to Ott to get cleared from their system, then call to make sure all boxes are checked and inputted into...

Canadian firearms export permit to Zimbabwe

Also following for a 2027 trip, would love it to be Zim and with my rifles. Will call Serge or his replacement in Ott to get proper answers. Weird as the ref above states 2008, took my own weapons after that date with an approved permit. Keep us updated on your success. Thanks MB

Arriving at a point in life

In the same place as many, safe full, only use the same 6, Rem 700's all skeletonized, ultralights in different calibers, the rest only handled for their annual look/wipe down. Told myself I would never sell a gun, recently broke that rule, all the Tikka's went. Something about taking a gun off...

    Lion hunt South Africa

Compare your options closely and verify included, not included from all outfitters. Scull and claws specifically. Some include and others do not then charge extra if you want. Just verify small details and ensure its on contract. MB

    Kruger Not Having Much Luck....

I did a 21 day self drive all over SA after a 21 day SA hunt. In all the SA parks we visited without any SA people guiding my weapons were SAN Park locked in hard case and stayed with me. When leaving their (park) jurisdiction their locks were removed and mine went back on. This was all approved...

    Kruger Not Having Much Luck....

My rifles were locked with SAN Parks locks on way in and stayed that way till we left park 5 days later. Inspection both in and out. We were self guided but we did see sidearms and rifles on other "warden" types while in park. Like everything else in the world things are not the same in other...

2026 Namibia Trophy Cancelation Leopard Hunt

WTG, that seams like an awesome deal. Good luck. Maybe you can add a hartmans zebra and a dik dik?? For on route to bait checks or after you get him early, bait and pre bait included another bonus and increase in odds. Please keep us at home "involved" with a report. Have fun. MB

2026 Namibia 14 Days Trophy Leopard Hunt

I do not know this company or PH but I can say that listed price seams very good, not much more than my Namibian leopard hunt and that was some time ago in 2011. Namibia is a safe, easy to get around country teaming with wild UNFENCED game. Truly a Country that left life long lasting memories...

    Are Sable a Hard Hunt?

As most already stated. I think there are almost 2 separate animals. The sable on wild areas, wild born and unfenced areas of Zim were truly a great hunt. Track, stalk or bump into them but they were all truly spooky. Cannot say same for any of the ones in SA farms, I got a 39" there. We saw...

    2.5 x 8 or 2x7 leopould scopes?

For me they are the ultimate do all scopes, I have them on every gun. Most favourite is the 3x9x33 ultralight with drop reticle but also have the VX11's 2x7x33. They add to my ultralight 6 lb 700's in performance, lightweight and looks. I am not a sniper so work perfect at all my hunting...

    ARE IMPORTABLE TUSKLESS HUNTS AVAILABLE?

That's what I did on first so good news for a return again. The replica tusks have come along way in realism. Glad that dumb Steven was forced out of Gov, too bad rest would not also be gone. MB
