Is it taboo to hunt white Elephant

Its worse when you start looking for pink elephants......

Your thinking of pink bunny rabbits.

It all depends on how long the white elephant has been free to roam the area and if a group of nameless people on the Internet say it's ok.

Isn't a white elephant when some upstanding person offers you a great invetment with 100% return?

Not really my kind of place to hunt.

White Elephant

But, these guys, without a doubt! Perfect place to get lost on a hunt for that last piece of gear.

:banghead:I stopped hunting white Ellie as it was an Ethical issue and the publicity was just bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Walt Disney reckoned he could make them fly so perhaps driven elephant shooting or elephant over pointers might be a good idea! LOL

Elephant beaters (with BIG sticks)!

My best always.

The only point of shooting a white Elephant would be to get a full mount and I could never afford that, so I would let it walk:D

That s a good one

If he would have succeeded, we would all need MUCH larger umbrellas, and industrial strength windshield wipers.:hmmmer::angrymob:

If the white elephant is a "messenger from God" someone gonna get hurt when one falls from heaven.:)

Thanks, everyone, I just needed a good laugh!:clapping:

I suppose hunting a 'white elephant' would put you in the same category as hunting the 'black sheep'...but there again it'll also depend as to what family pedigree he's from!! But shame guys....they're both just unwanted and unloved!!

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
