Holland and Holland Catalog from 1910

I have enjoyed reading this catalog from 1910 by holland and holland, it evens shows the grouping of the rifles. A very interesting read ,hope you like it atb steve

Thanks for posting this. It is a real fun read.

I wonder if you can still shoot outside 30 minutes from their Mayfair location?

Can you still buy a double rifle for 100 pounds?

Can you still buy a shotgun for 50 pounds?

Now I want to see a cross eyed gun in real life. Have any of you ever seen one?

Wheels the west london shooting grounds are 40 to 60 mins from central london by car, so nearly but not quite.

Mountain varminter thanks it was an interesting browse . i love looking through these old catalogues and brochures. i have a uganda game dept booklet from 1965 and it has adverts from car manufacturers , hotels, airlines, safari agents and shops that are long gone. one of the outdoor suppliers gundealers who was the agent for "the world famous winchester rifles" was in the imperial hotel lobby shopping arcade. the hotel is still there but i have a sneaking suspicion there isnt a shop of that type there anymore where you could pop in and pick up a rifle.......

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
