Hello all,

I am back from the Chinko river with another great hunting season in CAR.
Again despite the trouble in the country and the invaders from Sudan and Chad I had a great time with hunters from US, Mexico, France and Germany.
Lots of Giant forest Hog this year may be because it was very wet and green ??? Good Bongos and Leopards...

Have a look at the pictures: www.huntersguidesafaris.com

I will post a video clip soon.

If someone wants to hunt Massailand with me this year I have a special 14 days safari to offer...

Christophe

Nice to have you back Christophe! Have not had a chance to look a your photographs yet but it is certainly not to be missed. Have a look through AH, lots of posting since you left for CAR. Take care.

Some great pictures.

One day!!!! :)

great photos as usual, how bad is the savannah poaching?

Nice trophies, Christophe !

Glad you are back out safe and sound.

I may hijack some of your pictures from your site and out them here in this thread. :)

Post your hunt offer when you get a moment.

The bongo is nice, you right, 32'' is always something special. I am not really allowed to post the offer !!! so if someone wants some details, please contact directly or by PM.

Environ,
The poaching in the savannah is very bad at the moment, most of the species like Lord Derby Eland, Roan, hartebeest are almost gone !!! very sad... fortunately some people are trying hard to save them. CHINKO PROJECT is doing its best to chase the cattle helpers from Chad and Sudan. I hope they will succeed.

I hope they succeed.

Thanks for posting the trophy picture.

Very nice Christophe. One day I will make it there to hunt with you, hopefully by then things will be under control. Sorry to hear of it.

Here are some trophy pictures

Another nice leopard.

Amazing Serval cats. It is already hard to spot a serval but to get two in one hunting season is really lucky. And two get two with different color is just a dream.... check those 2 cats!!!

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
