Best looking round

@steve white
The pissant 243 is pushing shit up hill to get tat with an 87gn let alone a 100gn. With a 100gn your lucky to get 2,700. A totally useless round pretending to be something it ain't.

I really like the 416 Rigby. The gentle taper on the body, the aggressive shoulder angle, and just the sheer hugeness of the cartridge. It plain looks like it means business.

The .22 Remington Jet is one that always gets attention at the range, both with it's muzzle blast as well as it's somewhat "I may be little, but I mean business" appearance when I show someone one of the cartridges.

Best regards,

When i was in Vietnam we had a couple of captured 7.62 x25 Tokarev pistols , shot them a lot when we could find ammo, i through they were wonderful, a better cartridge than our 9 MM , A Browning HP in 7.62x25 was a dream of mine.

Great thread, is it just me (maybe it is) but for 30 years I have loved the shape/design of the late great 300 H&H like a beautiful waist line this round has it all for me.
Pity that it has fallen by the way side, I’d love to own one just to look at the rounds.

Funny how it works a round capable with 150gr loads of up to 3200fps or at least 3000fps on 180’s it just seems to be a blast from the past… Any experts on here know why?

I still love it though… great looking design.

my best always
Jaco.

Someone has to love it mate it just isn't me. All those that do like it is fine if it works for them. I got sick of cleaning up after it. It's just not my cup of tea

You can even order a dummy round on Amazon! No man cave is complete without one of these!

Or, have it rebarreled and chambered to .35BNE (Banzai Nelson Express)? 7.7 Jap case necked up to .35. You'd be the first on your block (or anywhere) to have one.

That’s for sure

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….

I'd like to get some too.

My wife (a biologist, like me) had to have a melanoma removed from her arm last fall.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?
