Wanted to gain some ideas as I begin putting my library/office together. I collect books and other African artifacts and was hoping I might gain some ideas from yall through any pictures you have of your office/library.

Right now I am having some pictures with spent casing put together as well and have started to look for some campaign furniture. All ideas and pics would be appreciated.

I also really want to see other people's african-inspired offices. I do not think I will ever do one because then I would never focus on actually working. It would be just like having guns in my office: I would spend all of my time fiddling with them and no time working ;)

I'm definitely going to be watching this thread! Still not sure if we are building, remodeling, or buying another house. But having fun planning.

I want a nice big den/office and my idea is to have second floor office with a deck out to the lake side (if we do this on our lake lot), and double doors out to a balcony over looking the game room out the opposite side.

Going to need to start collecting some things like that shield and spears and a whole lot more.

The most important feature is to build my wife her own office!

It is not an "office" per se but, have a peep at my photos entitled "Safari Bar".
These photos were taken in my basement/man cave and although my decorating ideas are crude and adolescent, perhaps there might be some idea there worth seeing, such as my Gurkha cigar advertisement metal sign, for one example.

Velo Dog,

I can't see your attachments. Maybe user error on my end.

It´s a small office where I just have a few of my trophies, but it might give you an idea !

And this is where I keep my books about Africa, guns, cartridges...

I plan to redecorate one of our Master Bedrooms with Africa in mind. Fortunately, my husband trusts my tastes and tends to stay out of this area. I just had to promise not to put any heads over the bed. :ROFLMAO::whistle: Having an all male household, I largely decorate with mainly a masculine touch with feminine elements. So I hope y'all keep those ideas coming. :)

Very nice trophies and decorating. Darn nice pipe collection as well.

Sorry about that dtarin09,

My post on this was too vague.
I should've included more detail as to where my photos are located.
IE: Select "Photos", go through the alphabet shown in blue letters and hit V.
My screen name among others beginning with V will pop up, including a photo of me festooned in snow (until I put more photos in, then I think it will show the last one posted each time?).
Hit on that and my profile page will appear, then select "Photos".

I will do better next time,
Velo Dog.

Velo Dog,

Thanks for sharing - I located! Awesome pics - I really like the safari bar - looks like an awesome man cave that brings back plenty of memories. Gave me some good ideas.
