I am the ranch owner. This is a day hunt to harvest a fully mature breeder buck, the lodgings and accommodations are not provided. The hunt will be fully guided by our ranch manager, and we will provide the vehicles. There are local hotels, motels, Bed and breakfast, and restaurants within 12 miles of the ranch in Flatonia, TX and Schulenburg, TX. The ranch is a total of 1280 acres, but the portion that will be hunted is high fenced and 400 acre.

Is it possible to use a bow?

It is possible to use a bow but not probable for a single day hunt. The 15 elevated stands we have are all box/rifle stands over looking large pastures, lakes, and senderos - shooting lanes. I would say the average shot is 100 to 150 yards. We are just not set up for bow hunting.
