Best time to hunt Lion in this area. June/July/August

How to get there.
Flying into Johannesburg . And than connect onto earlier. Lam.co.mz or Flyairlink.co.za
Daily flights from Johannesburg to Tete international. Both airlines operate on Commercial Jets.
Time , 1hr 50min Flight Direct. 3 hr 30min drive from Tete to Camp.

What to expect of the hunt . Hunting method on Bait.
The area is huge with no villages inside the area. The area is mixed Miombo woodland and Mopani with
granite insulburgs dotted across the area. It truly is wild and remote . I have 2 Lions available but only book
one Lion a year. The area has produced some monster Lion in the past years. I am going to be upfront i do not guarantee a 100% success rate . of 8 Lion hunts 6 Lion hunts have been successful.
I had a lion booked for June which the client for personal reasons moved the hunt to 2016.

Mpalabanja Camp loacated on the banks of the Laungwe grande 4 Bangalows with 2 double beds in each house. all have their own en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water. Camp staff well trained. Chef works in our Restaurant in Tete www.cafedelrio.co.za in the off season to keep him on the ball as well as learning new dishes. Camp is powered by generator .

Damn Graham! If this deal was for 2017, I'd jump on it! Someone is going to get a hell'uve great hunt!

graham just looked on the website of cafe del rio, and i like the look of the bar that would be worth a look by itself.....;):D Beers:
Spike for sure. The restaurant is only 10 minutes drive from Tete airport right on the banks of the Zambezi river. You could have a quick beer at Cafe del rio before heading off into the bush.

This is a good deal, I know new people to Africa hunting will think I'm crazy. But in todays $$$ that is a truly great hunt offer!

If you would like some recent photos and updates of Cafe Del Rio... google Nicolette Killoran on Facebook cafe del rio tete mozambique. Its voted the 3rd best in Moz... Our camp staff are very well trained :)

Graham @spike.t , doesn't know the meaning of a quick beer..I hope you come right with a hunter, you can spot a free range lion from a mile,

This sounds like a nice opportunity for someone who wants to go on a real lion hunt. By today's standard the cost also seems quite reasonable.

Just my 2 cents.

Seems like a great opportunity.

This is an awesome deal and to add a Leopard for only 7,000 Wow. I'm drooling.

Cafe del rio the happening Tete hotspot find you there sometime spike!

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
