I just returned home from my leopard hunt in Zimbabwe with Leloma African Hunting Safaris, which I booked thru Discount Africa Hunts. We hunted in the Save Valley Conservancy. This was my second trip for leopard, my first trip to Mozambique in 2019 was unsuccessful. Once I arrived we set 4 baits with Zebra and ended up with hits on three of them. I shot my cat on day 8 but it was actually 5 hunting days. I saw a lot of game in the area including Buffalo, elephant, & lion. This was a huge deal for me and an end of a long quest getting my leopard as it completed my Big 5/ Dangerous 7.

I used a PSE Carbon Mach 1 bow at 70#’s. Easton FMJ Injexion arrows with Spitfire Maxx head 1 3/4” cut all at around 500 grains. We built a tree blind and I shot him out of that. He went approximately 70-80 yds after the shot

Oh man, wow! Congratulations on a successful hunt, and with a bow. How far was the shot? Don't be shy, give us some more details of the hunt. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
