I have a Mauser M03 Extreme in .458 Lott but would like to obtain another one or two barrels, preferably in .375H&H and .300 WinMag. These 3 calibres would make up a handy travelling hunter, rifle kit. The problem is that Mauser have discontinued the M03 and barrels are now scarce. If anyone has a .375H&H or .300 WinMag barrel (or any other similar calibre) that they wish to part with, please talk to me. I am located down-under but I am willing to engage an export agent to ship them from where ever they are to my home in Oz.

Hello Bwansbob, I’m in the same boat as you, I have a M03 extreme in .300 WM, can’t find other barrels or it anymore.

Hope you’ll have better luck than I!

I believe I'll be trying my luck with some German gun stores that might still have some in stock. But if anyone would know of a .375H&H barrel for a Mauser M03 Extreme, I'm more than happy to discuss!

Tried contacting Mauser a few times now, as their website states that replacement parts are available, but seems I’m being ignored...

Yes, I wrote to them as well and have been ignored. While their website says that they will continue to support the M03 their Facebook page says something quite different. On their Facebook page, among their video newsletters, is a statement that they will not be manufacturing any M03 parts because, they believe, that there are plenty of spares being held by gunshops. Really? I have left several questions and comments, on their FB page, about their decision to drop the M03, buy they are ignoring those, as well. I am very disappointed that a company, with Mauser's standing in the gun industry, can make this decision and then just abandon their M03 customers.

Tengo, en España, dos M03, uno M03 Africa con .375 y 8x68, y otro, a estrenar en .404 Jeffery

@VertigoBE , As I read the questions of other customers it seems the only caliber they have left in stock is the 9.3x62.

I’ll contact them anyway, never know if they still have something lying around.

Thanks @DieJager

Hola Filipe, no hablo muy bien el español. ¿Tienen barriles individuales a la venta? Más específicamente, solo un cañón .375 H&H, con cabeza de perno. --> Google translate :)

@Bwanabob does this help you?

@Bwanabob does this help you?

Thank you, however when you visit Eurooptic's website and actually click on any of the M03 parts, they are always listed as "Out of stock and cannot be backordered."

Hello @Bwanabob ,

I contacted Frankonia, a major hunting and arms store in Germany, if they still had any .375 barrels available. They said no. The only barrel still available is a 9,3x62.

best regards,

V.

My friend has a barrel in 8,5x63 that he wants to give away...kind of an exotic calibre but suitable for everything from Cape Buffalo to Roedeer. The Barrel is located in SW germany

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
