These were taken in Northern British Colombia around 1970 - 1972. Quality is poor - sorry. The cougar tried to attack me chopping wood, but thanks to my dog, I got an early warning in time to grab the .303. The griz was attacking our pigs. The small black critter is a prime fisher.

Ten Years After - Trapping 1981

Here are some more photos from trapping in 1981 in Northern British Colombia.
1. My wife lounging in a line camp snow shelter at -40.
2. Base camp. There are Martin hanging in the shadows on the wall but tough to see. Snow shoe rabbits for bait hang from the eaves.
3. Outside looking in. Almost covered...
4. Line camp snow shelter.
5. Making a trap set for Martin.
6. Moose booking out.
7. My wife writing in her journal.
8. Breaking trail.

Magic stuff, great photos of a life that most of us will never experience and is rapidly disappearing.

Thanks again for your support on the Rhodesian Shotgun thread. From the amount of "LIKES" it received, it appears there was only ONE person who objected. Hes also the same one who continually insisted on interjecting his posts that werent relevant to the thread.
