Love the detail you put into the stand! And that you saw fit to get the photo posted up for us quickly, even before putting the drill away.

We could get along really well, you're a man I can understand (y)

Thanks @ActionBob ! If you think the room is a mess you should see me:) Next time I will clean up properly;) Pretty sure we will get along like a house on fire(y)

You guys have some absolutely stunning trophies and trophy rooms! There are some very creative and talented people on here! Makes me hesitant to put mine on here, as my trophy room is just my small basement room (which also needs some serious renovation). But I've got a lot of stuff crammed in it...not sure where my African mounts will go as I slowly get them done, but I'll figure something out! I have all the skulls except the warthog which is in getting mounted first.

Impressive one and all. Fantastic elk above the T.V. Buffybr. How many years have you been hunting to aquire such an impressive amount of tropy's?

I've hunted since I was young, but never have had anything mounted. After seeing all of yours, I believe that's about to change!

This is not my trophy room but it is my classroom. I get to teach two Outdoor Adventure Classes this semester and two in the spring semester at my high school. This is the outdoor curriculum developed by DSC

Well I don't have a trophy room and I wanted to immortalize my Kudu in a Different way, I saw a Pedestal mount somewhere and showed a Pic to Taxidermy Unlimited in Burnsville MN and they took it from there.

jfet even if it's only one mind you convert ...I applaud you for the effort ...a mind is a beautiful thing to waste and children are our future !

Hell, after seeing all of these awesome rooms I'm embarrassed to even have posted mine. I guess I better get busy catching up.
Seriously, very nice to each and everyone of you! I love going to someone's home and asking them about the mounts they have and listening to the story behind it. I can honestly say that I never had one person not get that look in their eye, as though they were reliving the hunt. Taxidermy can get expensive, and we'll never get our money back out of it, but who really cares with the emotions it brings. Plus how many times have you had a non hunter see your mounts and just stare and ask about a million questions? creating the perfect time to educate about sustainable hunting and conservation.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
