Getting ready for my upcoming hunt I finally installed a 1 MOA Trijicon RMR. Heym comes premachined for RMRs and all one needs is the base that goes with the particular red dot.

It took me 3 shots to sight it in (basically 13 clicks up).

Then, a fresh target and simulated field shooting offhand from 64 yards (according to my rangefinder). Two pairs first left barrel (I am a lefty) where I took my time to aim and then the right barrel as soon as I recovered from recoil and the sights came back. Both right barrels I called as being a tad low and tad high as I saw the sights lift. Still similar grouping. I'll take it.

Overall very happy with the Trijicon, it did speed up aiming the second shot for sure. I would whole heartedly recommend it.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
