Hi everyone.
I bought a a-bolt in 375 and took it to the range.
I mounted a leopolt 3-9x 40 scope.
Excellent grouping.
I had it on a rest and in my haste to test the rifle had it wrong on the rest,
After 5 shots the recoil broke the trigger guard, it cracked.
Does anyone know where I can find a new guard in South Africa?

Hope someone can help you out.

With all the PHs and associated people working the shows here in the USA and Canada, someone should be able to secure one and take it to you. NOTHING illegal about it, it's a piece of metal.

Duct tape?????

Duct tape?????

Should work, according to this..........

375 I am in full agreement with your flow chart!

Replace it before you break the trigger as well. I know a guy who fell off a bluff, breaking the trigger guard and trigger of his A-Bolt in one go. End of hunt for him and a nice dent in his hunting budget!

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
