Well people its that time of the year again, as we close the season and look back at our year. This year the Tracks Across Africa team covered nine different countries, not just in pursuit of adventure but also experiencing first hand the profound effect that hunters dollars have across the continent of africa, giving wildlife value gives it a future - that bright future will ensure that our children will get to enjoy the sport we so passionately pursue.

At this time of the year the Outdoor Channel is taking votes for best show and best show host. An african show and host has never won this category before and so i am going to try my best to change that
On behalf of our team we would like to encourage you to vote for us, thus helping us build our platform to promote conservation through hunting, and ensure the survival of the species and the sport we love so much...

Please click the link below and vote for TRACKS ACROSS AFRICA and show host IVAN CARTER

This makes it feel like its all about me and its not - I have the easy job, the majority of the credit should go to our incredible team of dynamic professionals from the cameramen who stand firm in the face of amazing chaos on the front line to our production team behind the editting screens, whose talent makes us shine... all making it possible for us to bring Africa, her game fields and and conservation of her wild areas into American households 52 weeks a year!

We appreciate your votes and we are looking forward to bringing you an even more incredible lineup in 2013!

If I may be so bold as to ask you to please share this with as many friends as you can - via your email , facebook pages or other medium

THANK YOU from me and the team at Safari Classics productions.

tahnsk again for the kind comment , its appreciated from a professional such as yourself .

Ivan,

I love your show. I've been in love with Africa since I was probably about 10. Was planning an African safari in '16 (have to get some kids out of school first) but my hunting partner is pushing 80 and wants to go to Australia to hunt buffalo. Guess I'll get to Africa a little later. Best of luck and you have my vote.

Just saw this as I am a new member, but I like this show so much I had to chime in. I watch it every week. Great stand-in for those of us who can't be in Africa as much as budgets would allow!

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
