Spotted Hyena in Namibia an option or an actual reality?

I have been thinking about doing a return to Namibia hunt next year. I have mentioned it to the war department and didn't get any great negative response so I think it is something that could happen.

Was thinking about repeating my 2005 safari of 10 days. Hopefully spending some time in the Kalahari and the traditional animals; springbok, kudu, mountain zebra, blesbok, oryx, warthog, and so on.

Who has had success on a spotted hyena in Namibia?

Where else can I get one with good success?

I have wanted one since childhood and I think it is time to make it happen.

I hunted with @Jamy Traut Hunting Safaris in Kaokaland and heard some and saw lots of tracks. PH had hunted them numerous times.

I have not hunted spotted hyena in Namibia but I know the areas around Namib naukluft park have good numbers. They are expensive in Namibia though. If I really wanted hyena I think it would be difficult to beat Zimbabwe. Lots on quota most areas and relatively cheap. I took 3 on my hunt in 2021 at I think $550 each.
