Does anyone have a set up you like? I need some help picking one and looking for advice. Also who mounted it for you? Thanks in advance.

I have used both RMR and SRO both by Trijicon. Personally I love the SRO given it gives me a greater field of vision with faster Target acquisition. That is what is now on my 470

I had JJPerodeau mill my rifle for the mount

I also have a Trijicon SRO on my Krieghoff Classic 500/416, Heym 88B in 458, and whatever sight I feel like on any given day to include an SRO, Aimpoint H1, and low power variable optic (scope) on my Blaser S2.

There may be opinions but there is no question that a single sighting plane such as a scope or red dot reflex sight is faster to use than aligning metallic sights.

Where to mount the red dot sight. Seems Krieghoff have made a space right over the chamber, but aint that to tight to really use the field of view on SRO. Ain't right before back sight the right place? And it wold suit more old aged eyesight.

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….

I'd like to get some too.

My wife (a biologist, like me) had to have a melanoma removed from her arm last fall.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?
