I remember my first hand-grenade. It was terrifying. The Drill Sgt. warned us that sometimes people (men included) freaked-out the first time they threw a grenade and didn't throw it far enough or dropped it. I was a wreck but thank God I have a good arm.
Scary moment. Almost peed my pants..

Never hand an issue with distance or arc the first time but when I was handed it I swear I almost crushed that thing. Good times

That video proves practice grenades work. I have had a soldier throw one into the wall right in front of him on the range, thankfully i was up in the tower that day, but i am sure the sgt with him had a few choice words.
