Mozambique Pictures

Definitely one of my favourite photos of my 2014 season. Roosevelt Sable taken in Niassa.

Hi Fellows,
would you stop this Thread please.
I can't concentrate to my work.
In the meeting's I'm thinking on your pics:A Argue: in Mosambik and imagine that my opposite is my camp staff.
And my important clients are my trackers................
I miss the bush, the heat, the animals, the dreams by the campfire in the evening, the discussions so a buffalo track is good enough to follow them,my heartbeat, when the PH is whispering "get ready" and the Thrill when we tracked him down.
Oh Africa:E Celebrate:..........time to visit again

We truly get blessed with the amount of sable. Amazing how good conservation can revive an area

@Foxi , don't worry we will keep reminding you...how fast was your heart pounding when that photo was taken?

Wow what a story...Your a lucky man sir. Once I hit the lottery Moz;) is very high on my list of place to hunt. I would love to experience a true wild safari...

@johnnyblues , a lot of sweat, blood and tears goes into operating in these remote areas. We call it MWA , Mozambique wins again, and some days you just want to give in....but then one sunset will recharge your batteries.

You guys really know how to hit below the belt. Some great pics. Quite a deal to be nailed by a buff and have no scars to show for it. Bruce

Great pictures, loved em.

Foxi, that bull was 68 pounds, taken on day 4 of the safari. First day we turned down 3 bulls that were little smaller.

@Foxi , this was our biggest bull we have hunted, but not the biggest we have seen on the area. 88 pounds.

Because of the remoteness of the area and the rough terrain, we have to strip the landcruiser down completely after the season and have them in 100% working order for the new season. Even the mighty landcruiser takes a beating. @spike, don't even start with the landrover debate.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
