Andi Maier was killed while fighting off an unknown number of attackers near a campsite in the Caprivi.
Our grief and confusion at this time are little compared to what Andi's family must be feeling. Our hearts go out to them during this tragic time.
Andi's soft-hearted nature and his passion for Namibia's wildlife and serene wilderness will be the cornerstones of wonderful memories to hold on to.

Murdered in Mudumu Park

A German Namibian paid with his life when he prevented his Swiss girlfriend was raped in Mudumu National Park. The two were assaulted, threatened, robbed and kidnapped. Police said a man was remanded in custody.
