Mate the number of flying monkeys is on the decline as they are the favorite food of our sabre tooth field mouse.
Just curious what do the jackpoles survive on over your way in winter or do the hibernate.

It's a little known fact that jackalope are actually carnivores. Given the speed the can travel over snow winter is there preferred season.

The preferred winter food of the jackalope or atleast the northern varieties is the beaver. The carnage a rabid pack of jackalope can bring on a family of beaver is a terrible sight, they first locate the beaver lodge and then burrow in throw the top... what happens next is the stuff of nightmares.

I reckon our sabre tooth field mouse would give them a good flogging I think, vicious little buggers they are you should see what just one can do to a mob of kangaroos. It ain't pretty

This I cannot believe I recon the only one way to settle this bob is in the streets, I'll catch a jackalope you catching of the little mice of yours. Well meet on neutral territory so that no one has home field advantage and let them duke it out....

(P.s. I don't know who's critter would win but I forsee headaches the next day)

I eye sees the 35 Whelen the other sees 25 cal rifles.
The 243 is still only good for tomato stakes .
See I'm not biased as long as it's a 35 or 25 or metric equivalent all is right with the world.
Would love a 404 Jeffery tho.

It took me a while to find, but last year I secured a Rem 700 CDL in .35 Whelen and a Win Mod 70 in .257 Roberts to add to my .257 Weatherby.
Next on the list is a .25-06.

25/06 doesn’t seem to be popular here. I don’t know why because it’s a really great cartridge. Australia’s favorite seems to be the 308 and 223.
I was getting a 257 Weatherby but the desk has fallen through
As a suggestion (only) load your Weatherby with 100 grain Bullets stocked up and the 26/06 with say 120 grainers each fir different situations.
The 35 whelen an is a great cartridge - but I have only used it sparingly.
