Hello from Nicaragua Bird Hunting Adventures

Hello and thank so much for allowing me to join this forum. I am still new at it, so might make some mistakes. If so, just scold me and send me in the right direction.

Welcome to AH.

Look forward to hearing more about your bird hunts.

Ha ha ha, most of bird shooting tales, would be lot of shells used and not many birds down. I did have a gentleman from Ohio hunt with us recently and he said if he could harvest 55 doves with 50 shots, I would buy him a steak dinner. Of course, confident he could not, I said sure. 1 hour later, he had 56 doves with only 50 shots. I looked at the bird boy, and he just shrugged his shoulders. That cost me.
I love it! That's the kind of tale that should be told more often. Thanks for sharing! R.

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….

My wife (a biologist, like me) had to have a melanoma removed from her arm last fall.
