In particular, the 300 grain .375 H&H and 165 grain .30-06? Do they hold together or blow up, typically? I know they're considered "premium" bullets, but are they really? I'm starting to work up .375 H&H PG loads and would like to try them as an option in case the Barnes bullets leave too much copper in my barrel.

Thanks much!

I have shot 300 grain Accubonds in my 375 H&H, they are very accurate. I think they are great for plains game and some of the Big5.

No experience with the Accubonds, but I use Barnes TSX in 7mm Mag, 300 Mag, 375 H&H and 416 Rigby with no more copper fouling than I get with other premium bullets.

I shot the 260 gr AB up to eland, no Problems, all 1-shot clean kills (oryx, waterbuck, bwb, warthogs ) ...

Mannlicher

Thanks Mannlicher! What is "bwb"? I'm sure I should know, but I don't...

Usually Blue Wildebeest, but could be Black Wildebeest too.

I have shot 18 head of African game with a 9.3x63 using a 250 gr Accubond. Recovered 3 85-95% weight retention, and a perfect mushroom

That's a pretty good endorsement! Thanks.

I shoot 180 gr nosler AB in my 30-06. I use 2 different speeds on these bullets. 2480 f/s for bushveld (80-150m) and 2685 f/s for plains hunting. Both loads are on accuracy nodes an group 1/2" on 100 m. These bullets perform excellent.
I use local ( South Africa) Peregrine 270 gr bushmasters and 300 gr Swift A- frames in my 375 H&H.

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….

I'd like to get some too.

My wife (a biologist, like me) had to have a melanoma removed from her arm last fall.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?
