That's gonna leave a bruise. Dang lucky that buff didn't stay on top of him. Looks like he shot over his boss into his back?
Fortunate man right there.

Yikes! Hope he’s OK?

It looks like he shot just as the bull dropped his head. Good lesson.

It must have just bumped him. You can see how the bull starts to twist his head to hook the guy. That guy was very lucky not to have ended up on that right hook.

I think I'll start shooting earlier in the Buffalo's advance.

Well that didn't seem well planned at all. Did he think he was hunting a coyote or some other non dangerous game?! I am pretty sure he will think twice before doing that again.

Ya mess with tha bull, ya get the horns. ;)

That was actually the PH that took the hit. The hunt was on Wild TV a couple months ago not sure who the hunters were. They were hunting with a cross bow at the time, no explanation whether the bull was wounded or not. I will try and find more information on the hunt.

Having worked with cattle for most of my adult life, I have a healthy respect for bovine creatures. They move fast, are tough as hell, and when they set their mind to something, they are mighty hard to change their mind.

Antler Ice's Bone Cold TV, Avula Safaris. Sorry don't know how to post the video link.

Their acceleration is amazing....

I saw someone on here talk about how slow they are to get up one time. I just snickered to myself and thought "yeah, you just keep thinking that, and I hope it doesn't get you killed...."

Took me forever to find it on the web. (That is saying something.)

Go to around 15:20 minute mark....

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….

I'd like to get some too.

My wife (a biologist, like me) had to have a melanoma removed from her arm last fall.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,
