What makes that one very special, and I am a big fan of these rifles, is that you kept the set trigger and you have a pop-up peep. Very nice and Merry Christmas .

Nice pick up, what are you going to do with it ?

I bought two a while back, 270Win & 30/06 one with a very stuffed barrel & fitted a 602 .458 Barrel.
Also have a ZKK 601 in mint condition.

That is the factory Set trigger, hard to find ones here with out them fitted, they came with a little cloth bag with either Set or single trigger in it & a few small tools.

I bought a 601 223 action just to get a single trigger & pop up sight to fit to the .458Win.

That looks like a it's going to be a fun rifle!

Pre 1974 pop-up peep sight and original set trigger. You've got a real keeper for sure. The BRNO ZKK-600s chambered in .270 Winchester deliver the most accurate results with the 150Gr Winchester Super X Power Point, in my humble experience.

I'll leave it as it is.

Thanks, it was a stroke of luck.

Hello, I already received the Brno Zkk 600 rifle, it is a little more used than what can be seen in the photographs. What worries me is that the built-in diopter does not come up when pressing the corresponding button. Any advice and/or ideas? Thank you.

As @ZG47 says try a bit of lube first - Kroil or any good penetrating oil, then give it a light tap while pushing in the side plunger .

Do this before taking it apart, it is not tricky, as I think yours is a later model it will have one spring under the Peep/Diopter, the early models had two, when a scope is fitted for a long time & the rifle is used in the rain, a bit of moisture is going to get under there, the bit of light rust resulting will stick things up or even too much of the wrong oil can gum the works over time.

Take it slowly. If the sight does not move easily after the first overnight soak, wipe away the excess and apply some more. Be the tortoise:D!

IF YOU DON'T COME UP WITH ANY .458, I WILL TRY AND GET MY KID TO PACK SOME UP FOR YOU BUT PROBABLY WOUDN'T BE TILL THIS WEEKEND AND GO OUT NEXT WEEK.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
