BRNO Effect? Break action single shot

I am also considering a break action single shot but am leaning towards a Hubertus in 7x65R.....
Brno build great rifles....strong and accurate....

Brno once made great rifles..... CZ no longer offers break action rifles.

There is new brno factory, but they focus on different type of firearms

There are used ones that pop up now and again.

Brno Effect is old school.....nothing wrong with it....I own many Brno rifles....I have an idea....

I came across the fkbrno.com website last week, it looks like they still are offering rifles and shotguns. Has anyone dealt with them? They told me these are new build guns, not old stock. They will respond to an email but not a phone call. Their accepted payment options on their website are not acceptable to me (Zelle, wire transfer, or cryptocurrency). They are located in Gainesville, FL, has anyone visited their place of business?

I have a BRNO Effect in .308 from the CZ days, it is really a nice gun and I was thinking of adding another.

Italian Firearms Group, IFG is the new importer, but their site does not show the Effect. I have emailed them about it.
If they get back to me I will post up.

Had two emails saying FK Brno has nothing to do with the Effect,,, but then under a BRNO search I got this.

And at the top of the page its says,,,, FK BRNO! Go figure.

Just got another reply.

FK Brno US is currently out of business.

That is interesting isnt it? Sure not the line IFG NA is using.

So I wrote back to FK and got this.

You are continuing to confuse Bnro USA from FK Brno USA.

That specific website has been flagged with questionable authenticity and is in no way associated with FK Brno, IFG, or its affiliates. IFG is the sole importer and support for FK Brno products.

To be clear, IFG does not in any way import, sell, or support BRNO Rifles into the USA. We cannot order one, service one, or price one. IFG is the importation operation for FK BRNO - a completely different manufacturer of products totally independent from those offered by Brno.

Not sure what to think, but I guess I would be careful about ordering from BRNO USA, make sure its legit.

Address from BRNO page shows a multi family dwelling at that address.

There is a new BRNO single shot in 308 at a LGS. It looks like a sweet little rifle. PM me if you have interest Scott

Man I got at least a half dozen .308's now, same with '06. I dont suppose they ever made them in something a bit more exotic!
Thanks!

I have a .308, nice gun.

The fkbrno.com website lists a 7X65R and 8x57 JRS in the Lux model (along with .243, .308, and .30-06). When I purchased mine, they were only available in .308 and .30-06 (including a full stock "FS" mannlicher with a 24" barrel). Their current website only offers the .30-06 in the standard models.

But the current website is questionable as to validity.

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
